I might be the one getting wet in August, but none of this would be possible without the fantastic bunch of people who are supporting me in this ambitious project. Since my initial decision to make a solo Channel attempt, I have received an incredible amount of support and encouragement from friends, family and colleagues – and the many people who I have shared my plan with.
